Henry Hudson and a crew of twenty set sail to try to find the northwest passage.  In the winter the bay froze over and they had to spend the winter in a log hut.  After the weather warmed up and the bay thawed out they set sail once again.  Wile Hudson was continuing to search for the northwest passage the crew though they were going back home ,but when the crew realized they wanted to go home so bad they put Hudson, his son,and seven loyal crewmen on a boat with no oars.  Everybody thought of something different like of starvation, natural causes or in search of food. But Hudson and those eight other crewmen were never heard from again.
